WalkSafe Podcast Launch
Each week our hosts will be discussing a different topic with a range of interesting guests and experts across multiple different fields.
Our first episode is due to drop on Tuesday 20th July and you will be able to access it on the normal channels including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon, Google Play Music and Pocket Casts among others.
They will be available every Tuesday from July 20 so make a note to download and tune in.
In the first episode, you can get to know a little more about our hosts @emmakaywalksafe and @jesswardauthor as they reveal their own experiences and discuss how TalkSafe is a safe space where we will speak to experts on how we can all be safer and enable others to tell their story.
In episode 2, the team catch up with Nadia, a mum of two and ex Met police officer. Working in many police departments within the force, including victim support. Most recently. Nadia has been working with WalkSafe to help develop the app using her unique expertise and experience.
In this episode we discuss how to protect our children through our teachings, what life in the police force was like and how to give a voice back to women.
In the third episode we speak with Gershon Portnoi (Healthy for Men Magazine) about the responsibility on men when it comes to the abuse suffered by women.
We discuss what we can do as parents to break the chain for future generations and how men and women can work together to help make the female population feel safer.
